These foods are more satisfying for patients and they loose weight on them. Dedicated raw food purists eat 80 to 90 percent of their raw food. If you find this difficult, aim to eat two-thirds or more of your food raw, which still leaves room for going out for dinner and enjoying plenty of warm soups and stews in the winter.And of course in the summer you could always try a Green Smoothie
If you must cook your vegetables. steam them lightly or gently stir fry them for just a few minutes so as to loose the minimum of nutriets.At least try to eat a minimum of three pieces of fruit, a handful of nuts and seeds and salad everyday.Of course there are many raw or green smoothies you could try, one of my favourite being Coco Green Smoothie. Raw food is quick and easy to prepare – instead of worrying about recipe ideas you just chop you just chop up whatever vegetables you have and drizzle salad dreessing over them. Raw food does not have to mean “Rabbit Food” it also includes nuts,olives,yoghurt,olive oil and sushi to name a few things. If you are having a pre dinner drink, instead of crisps try eating chooped carrots, cauliflower and broccoli dipped in hummus or guacamole. You can also make fruit salads and treat yourself to some papaya or pineapple which are both rich in enzymes.
Raw foods offer higher levels of nutrients including vitamins and minerals and fibre, than cooked foods.
Raw foods contain all the enzymes necessary for their digestion; cooking kills up to 100 percent of the enzymes
Raw foods may be useful in curing cancer and other illnesses associated with ageing.
A diet high in raw foods is very effective for losing weight wihtout going hungry.
Try to eat around Two-Thirds of your food raw in the form of fruits, salds, raw vegetables, nuts and seeds and sushi and various Nutritious Smoothies
