Coco-Green Smoothie

Todays new smoothie we’ll call a coco-green smoothie.

Here goes:
First off you are going to need a young coconut preferably a sustainably sourced or eco friendly coconut. It is very important that you use both the flesh of the coconut as well as the water as the water contains potassium and electrolytes which are very usefull for hydrating the body. The white flesh of the coconut us cholesterol free and contains essential and beneficial lauric acid, which supports the thyroid. Makes for some great skin!
Lets get started with Coco-Green Smoothie.

Task 1: Opne the young coconut be carefull when doing this as they are tough and will require a large knife or clever to open.. You can either Cut the top off or make a box cut at the top.
Task 2: Gently collect and pour the coconut water into your blender after this add the white coconut flesh to the blender.
Task 3: Blend the coconut water and flesh on its own until smooth rich texture.

Task 4: Add 3 cups of baby spinach, or 3 large handfuls.

Task 5: Blend and serve. As simple as you get. Your body won’t think this though as the nutrients being added are complex and inriching for the body. Makes for a great tasting green smoothie recipe and really is so simple. Remember to be careful when trying to open the coconut, otherwise go wild!
